This tool produces a pay stub document from numbers you enter. It does not run payroll, calculate taxes, or verify anything. Read what the output is and is not before you rely on it.

Internal record only

Every document generated here is an internal accounting record that you authored from data you supplied. It is intended for your own bookkeeping, record-keeping, and independent financial documentation. Paystubs does not verify, endorse, or attest to the accuracy of any figure on a document.

Not a government form

A pay stub from this tool is not a W-2, not a 1099, and not any government-issued or government-certified document. It is not proof of income in the eyes of a lender, landlord, court, or agency, and it is not a substitute for filing employment taxes or issuing the correct information returns. For the authoritative definitions of those forms and who must issue them, see the IRS:

No fraud, no forged credentials

Creating or presenting a pay stub to misrepresent income — to a lender, landlord, employer, government agency, or anyone else — is fraud and may be a criminal offence. Fabricating a document for a person you do not legitimately pay, altering figures to inflate apparent earnings, or forging an employer identity is strictly prohibited. You are solely responsible for how you use documents you generate, and for holding the consent of anyone whose information you enter. Paystubs cooperates with lawful investigations and may revoke access to a document on notice of abuse.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, or payroll-compliance advice. Employer record-keeping, withholding, and reporting obligations remain yours, and vary by jurisdiction. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything that affects your taxes or payroll compliance.
