Refund Policy
Effective September 22, 2026.
Every purchase delivers a digital document immediately, which is why this policy is narrower than a subscription refund page. Here is exactly what we will reverse and how long it takes.
Questions: the reply address on your Creem receipt email (Creem is the merchant of record, so billing contact always has a route)
What is refundable
Refunds are reviewed case by case and granted when the document did not reach you: a failed or duplicated payment, a technical fault that prevented the download from completing, a PDF that came out corrupted or blank, or a checkout that charged you without producing a usable file.
Requests should come within 14 days of purchase. Ask by replying to your receipt email, or write to the reply address on your Creem receipt email (Creem is the merchant of record, so billing contact always has a route) with the order number from your receipt. Include what went wrong; a screenshot saves a round trip.
What is not refundable
A document you already downloaded successfully. The product is the file, and once it is on your device it cannot be given back.
Also not refundable: a pay stub whose numbers were simply wrong because they were entered wrong (enter them correctly and generate a new one), a change of mind after download, or a document a recipient declined to accept. If a field was mis-entered before you downloaded, tell us and we will reissue the link at no charge.
How the money moves back
Checkout is run by Creem as merchant of record, so the refund is issued through them and returns to the original payment method. Expect it to appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank; the confirmation email from the payment provider is the record of it.
What happens to the document
When an order is refunded or disputed, download access is revoked on our side: existing links stop working and no new one can be issued for that purchase. That revocation runs automatically whenever the payment provider's event carries our document reference; when it doesn't, we handle the revoke by hand as soon as we see it, so there can be a short delay. The pay stub data behind it is then removed when its retention window ends — or sooner if you ask us in the same message, in which case we delete it by hand.
A file you downloaded before the refund stays on your device; we cannot reach it, and we are not trying to. You may keep or delete it as you see fit.
Right to withdraw (EU/UK)
Consumers in the EU and UK normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content that right ends as soon as delivery begins with your express consent and your acknowledgement that it cancels the withdrawal right (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)) — which is exactly what the line next to the pay button in the generator asks you to accept before you pay. So once a download link for a document has been issued, that document is no longer withdrawable. Everything else on this page is our own voluntary promise, and where it is more generous than the statutory baseline, it simply applies.
Chargebacks
If you open a dispute with your card issuer instead of asking us, that is your right, and the payment provider's dispute process will decide it. It is usually slower than emailing us, and the document access is revoked the same way.
