Paystubs generates pay stub documents from data you supply. You keep the documents you generate; we grant you a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them for your own record-keeping. You do not acquire any right to our software, branding, or templates.

A generated pay stub is a record you create and are responsible for. Whether a lender, landlord, or agency accepts it as proof of income is their decision, not something this tool can guarantee.

A single payment of $4.99 covers one document. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no account to cancel.

A pay stub produced here is an internal accounting record that you authored. It is not a W-2, not a 1099, not a government-issued document, and not a substitute for running regulated payroll, filing employment taxes, or remitting withholdings to a tax authority.

We do not verify the figures you enter and cannot. Nothing here is legal, tax, accounting, or payroll-compliance advice; consult a professional for your situation. Employer record-keeping and reporting duties remain yours.

You agree to use this service only for lawful purposes and only with information you are entitled to record. Misrepresenting income to a lender, landlord, government agency, or employer — including fabricating a pay stub for someone you do not legitimately pay — is prohibited, is fraud, and is on you. We may revoke access to a document (which stops further downloads from our side) if we become aware of abuse.

You are responsible for having the data subject's consent where your jurisdiction requires it to process another person's personal information.

Checkout is provided by Creem, which acts as merchant of record: the invoice for your purchase comes from them, and refund handling runs through their receipt and support flow as well. Our refund policy describes what we will and will not reverse. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the document's download access is revoked.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". It is a small product: expect occasional downtime, and expect that we may change templates, prices, or the retention window. Material changes to these terms get a new effective date above; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paystubs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any single document is limited to the amount you paid for it. That includes losses from a document you relied on for a loan, lease, or benefit application — verify your own figures before you submit them anywhere.

These terms are offered by the operator of this website; questions about them go to the reply address on your Creem receipt email (Creem is the merchant of record, so billing contact always has a route). Payment-related disputes are additionally subject to the payment provider's own terms.
