Report abuse, impersonation or wrong data
Effective September 23, 2026.
This tool accepts any employer name and any person's name, and nobody at Paystubs reads a document before the person who entered it asks for the file. That is the design, and it is also the risk: your name can end up on a pay stub you never authorized. This page is how you tell us, and how you ask us to take it down.
Questions: support@paystubs.shop
Send the report
Use the form, or write to support@paystubs.shop directly. Both reach the same mailbox; the form just structures it. Nothing here requires an account, a purchase, or proof that you are the named party — say who you are in the description and we will ask if we need more.
Who can use this
An employer or a person whose name appears without authority. A pay stub carries your business name, your address, or your own name and pay details. If you did not authorise it, that is what this form is for — you do not need to have bought anything here.
Someone whose data on a document is wrong. A name spelled wrong, an address that is not yours, figures you never agreed to. Tell us which document and what is inaccurate.
Anyone asking for data to be removed. If you are in the EU or the UK this is a request under the GDPR (access, erasure, objection); if you are in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law such as California, it is a CCPA request. The same address handles both, and the Privacy Policy explains what “removed” covers and the one case where a record is held while a report is open.
People who generated a document here, free or paid, and want their own record deleted — or their payment refunded — use the same address too; note that order lookup lists paid orders, so for a document obtained free write to us instead.
What we can do, and what we cannot
What we can do is act on the record we hold: make any outstanding download link for that document stop working, mark the document revoked so it can no longer be served, and delete the encrypted pay stub data behind it. If the report concerns an email address that has orders here, we can delete those records as well.
What we cannot do is worth stating as plainly, because a disappointed reporter who was promised more will route the complaint to a payment provider instead: we have no account system and no way to identify the person who generated a document, we have no admin interface that displays a document's contents to us, and a file someone already downloaded to their own device is beyond our reach. We cannot pull it back, and we cannot prove who made it. What we can do is stop serving it and delete what we hold.
We also do not review documents before you request the file, so a report is usually the first time we learn something is wrong. That is exactly why this channel exists.
What happens after you submit
A person at the operator reads it — this mailbox is not triaged by a bot and is not shared with anyone outside the business. Then, in this order:
- We acknowledge your report within 2 business days so you know it landed in a mailbox someone reads.
- We ask whoever reported to say which document is affected, and we match it against what we hold. If a report is vague we write back rather than guess, because deleting the wrong record is its own harm.
- Where the claim is credible on its face — a name we cannot plausibly be connected to, a request to delete your own data, a document used to misrepresent employment — we revoke download links and stop serving the document, then delete the stored data. We tell you which of those we did.
- A substantive reply follows within 10 business days. A deletion or access request under GDPR or CCPA is answered within 45 days, which is the window our Privacy Policy commits to.
We do not send a counter-notice to whoever generated the document, and we do not publish reporter identities. If a payment provider or a court demands records about a disputed order, that is a separate route and the Privacy Policy's retention sections say what still exists by then.
Legal notice to the operator
Email support@paystubs.shop — this is our only published channel for questions, compliance reports and legal notice. Notice served for a document generated here, a takedown request, a data-protection request, or a payment dispute all go to the same place: support@paystubs.shop.
This website is operated by a United States–based independent operator under the Paystubs name, with its operator and hosting located in the United States. The governing law is the laws of the State of Alaska, and the Terms set out how disputes are handled. There is no EU representative and no second published address, so for formal notice in any jurisdiction the email above is the recipient named on this site.
What this page is not
It is not a complaint desk for the accuracy of someone's bookkeeping, and not a channel for checking anyone's pay figures — a pay stub from this tool is an internal record authored by whoever generated it, free or paid for, and not a statement from an issuer (see the disclaimer and the acceptable use policy). It is also not a substitute for a court order: we decide takedowns on the facts you give us, and we say so when we decline.
If the form above will not send — our mailbox integration is down, or you were told to wait — write to support@paystubs.shop instead. A report is never supposed to dead-end at this page.
